The only way to scale within the Commercial and Industrial sector is to empower our network of local partners and leverage their expertise and relationships.
At Madison Energy Investments, the team originates opportunities working side by side our local partners. We identify opportunities that offer savings and certainty to customers and stable returns to our investor partners. The experience in financial modeling, risk analysis and customer and host negotiation allows us to expedite project closing, which benefits our partners and customers.
Financing distributed generation is challenging. Investors need to have experience in maximizing state and federal incentives, and they must design the right mix of debt and equity to satisfy all parties in the transaction. The team at MEI has structured hundreds of millions of dollars of transactions with a variety of partners.
Scaling in the Commercial and Industrial market requires a knowledge base that spans across different states and markets. The operations team at Madison Energy Investments has built projects in over 20 states in the U.S. and in Canada. This includes snowy Massachusetts, sunny California and the dense metro area of Washington D.C. In total, the team has managed a portfolio of assets worth over $1 billion across several hundred individual sites.
