New York, NY [February 25, 2021] – Madison Energy Investments (“MEI”) recently announced several key hires as part of their continued growth efforts in the Commercial & Industrial (“C&I”) solar and distributed generation markets. “Growing the team is of utmost importance at MEI,” says Managing Partner Steve Cunningham. “We put a lot of emphasis on the recruitment process to ensure the candidates bring new skills and perspectives to our business. Hiring is a practice that requires a lot of time, but our team dynamic is our best asset, so it’s worth every minute.”MEI has grown from a team of 11 to 17 full-time members across offices in New York City and the Washington DC area. The new hires span all areas of the business from development and operations to finance and asset management. MEI’s newest team members are: (left - right, top-bottom as pictured)

  • Chioma Enechukwu, Senior Associate, Operations & Technology
  • Praniti Mehta, Analyst Operations & Technology
  • Hermann Yibokou, Senior Analyst, Business Development
  • Anum Chandani, Senior Associate, Investments
  • Tucker Johnson, Senior Analyst, Finance
  • Jason Norinksy, Senior Associate Counsel

The majority of the new members had not worked in solar prior, but had diverse backgrounds in areas of energy, such as oil and gas or carbon capture, or possess banking or private equity experience. The main strategy in filling these roles was meeting the needs of MEI’s partners. For instance, improving turnaround and closing time for origination partners; integrating multiple technologies in several markets and climates; financing solar and storage projects; and improving the performance of assets.“The team expansion only signals MEI’s serious growth and potential in the clean energy industry,” says Managing Partner Jack Hachmann. “We will continue to expand the company based on further partner needs, but always do so in a strategic and meaningful way. Right now, we are excited to introduce everyone to the new team members and offer their services. It’s a solid group of people and we’re grateful to have each of their expertise.”
