‍MEI recently announced the hiring of George Carstens to assist with the growing number of projects under development and construction. “We’re grateful George has joined the team,” says Managing Partner Jack Hachmann “We have known George for a while, and his experience with project management and system design in the solar industry and in related industries is sure to be a value add for our team and more importantly, our partners'“

Prior to joining MEI, George spent 6 years in the renewable energy industry in various roles such as operations management of a PV contractor, PV design consulting engineering, and off-grid systems design. He graduated with a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from The Georgia Institute of Technology. “I’m excited to join MEI and help the team manage the growing portfolio of solar and storage projects,” says Carstens. “It’s enjoyable to work with partners from a variety of different markets and to see the projects advance from concept to operation.”
